‘Berry & Steelers clip the wings of the Ravens
Berry had three punts with one inside 20 for a 45.7 yard net average. His longest for the night was 55 yards. The win now takes the ‘Steelers home with their last regular season game against the Cleveland Browns…5am Monday 2nd Jan (AEST)
So far Berry has been doing his thing, and that includes 60 punts for an average of 45.5 yards, 23 of those punts landing inside the 20 yard line and a longest punt of 63 yards.
Berry, who took up the game with the Western Crusaders, quickly knew he wanted to make football a career. He spent 6 years with Prokick Australia learning the trade and working hard on his technique. 2008/2009 he moved to Eastern Kentucky, playing his football with EKU Colonels and In April 2015, he signed with the Steelers beating incumbent and another Melbourne boy, Brad Wing out of the job.
The Steelers are riding a great winning streak and are now sitting as division champs for the second time in three years. What will the Post-Season bring for Berry & his Steelers, and will they make it to the BIG-DANCE on Feb 6th 2017? Time will tell…
Either way, the Western Crusaders wish Jordan the best of luck for the coming game against the Browns and the Post-Season. We will all be watching!
